Resumen

En este trabajo se presenta un panorama de los enfoques empleados por los investigadores de los Estudios Sociales de la Ciencia y la Tecnología de los países avanzados para el análisis de la Política de Ciencia y Tecnología (PCT). El texto toma como referencia las propias contribuciones y también las de aquellos investigadores que concibieron esos enfoques o que los aplicaron en el análisis de otras políticas. A continuación se formulan críticas a esas contribuciones que ponen en evidencia algunas de sus limitaciones para el examen del comportamiento de las comunidades de investigación en el proceso de elaboración de la PCT y que sugieren la pertinencia del enfoque utilizado por el autor para abordar la PCT latinoamericana.
