Abstract

Ipropose to appropriate Terry Shinn's provocative text as an opportunity to examine (albeit briefly) current theoretical and methodological challenges in the social studies of science. Consequently, instead of offering a detailed, point-by-point analysis of the article, I intend to identify several key themes and their foundational concepts.
