Abstract

The article "Ten Years After the Start of the Incubation of 'Technology-Based Companies' in Argentina: An Overview of the Evolution of the Phenomenon and Analysis of Recent Experiences" by Utz Hoeser and Mariana Versino was published in REDES issue 24. This article analyzes various business incubator experiences at national universities. One of the cases analyzed is that of the National University of Quilmes.

Dr. Daniel Gómez, rector of the UNQ, considered that some of the clarifications in the aforementioned article did not adequately reflect the historical process analyzed. Therefore, he sent us a note clarifying the aspects he considers necessary to clarify.

As is customary in these cases, the authors respond to this note, explaining their own point of view. We present both texts below, once again welcoming—as we have done in the past—the free debate of ideas that undoubtedly enrich the always multiple interpretations of historical and institutional processes.
