Abstract

The return to democracy in our country in late 1983 opened new perspectives for the social sciences. The opening of academic spaces provided a conducive environment for the development of research. From that point on, new journals began to be published alongside older ones that were either continuing or reappearing. This situation held particular significance for Anthropology. The research we are carrying out aims to connect, from a library science perspective, the state of Social Anthropology research developed during this period with the cycle of production, circulation, and use of Anthropology journals published in the city of Buenos Aires from 1983-1984 to 1995.
